The product is called ‘Retanol Xtreme’ and created by a company from Germany called PCT Chemie. We have close relationships with this company as we had the pleasure of visiting their factory in Stuttgart on several occasions. They like to work closely with the license holders of their products and their UK based office have an extremely helpful technical support system. They are very passionate about their product and as you will see from the table below its impressive.

We have two trained Insulation team’s that will visit site before the screed team or before the Under Floor Heating teams where insulation is required. They will make sure all insulation is installed too the correct specifications as set out by the product manufacturer. We follow the products data sheet to the letter and are also approved installers of the Cellecta and Thermal Economics products having been trained to meet its strict Robust Detail.
We can also provide any EPS 70/100 void formers for projects that do not require U-Values or acoustic values. All we ask is you send us all the insulation requirements for your project. YELOfon HD10+ is the ultimate acoustic resilient layer for underneath a floating screed and is one of the most iconic products in the Cellecta acoustic floor insulation range.
YELOfon HD10+ is a lightweight, easy to install system that delivers unrivaled acoustic performance when used to isolate a floating screed from structural concrete floors.
The acclaimed high density, non-cross-linked, HCFC free polythene resilient layer system carries its own proprietary Robust detail E-FC-5.
It comes in a 10 mm depth and works excellent with a Sand and Cement screed system.

Polyisocyanurate (PIR)
This is one of the most efficient insulation materials used in construction. This product is an improvement of previously used PUR boards (polyurethane) typically produced as a foam and used as a rigid thermal Insulation.
The market leaders in this product are Kingspan, Celotex, Quinntherm, Recticel and Eco-Therm there are available in all sizes from 20 mm to 200 mm and all products have ranges that achieve different U-Values and Acoustic Values so whatever your specification requires we can supply and install them all.
Thermal Economics Iso-Rubber
Isorubber base is an acoustic isolation and vibration reduction mat. It is primarily used in concrete and timber floor systems to achieve Approved Document Part E compliance, but can also be used in general sound proofing and noise reduction applications. It is also the main acoustic component of the Robust Detail E-FC-14 constructions.
